Setting the Stage for ABQ with Jeff Andersen

Jeff Andersen is a dedicated leader in Albuquerque’s arts community. As the Executive Director of Arts Hub, Jeff is committed to unleashing the power of the arts to engage the community, tackle urgent issues, and strengthen the creative economy.

Jeff also co-produces Funny Fiesta, Albuquerque’s comedy festival, which launched in 2019 to give local stand-up performers more opportunities to take the stage. The festival fosters cross-genre collaborations, bringing together comedians, poets, burlesque dancers, and more to break down artistic silos.

Beyond his work with Arts Hub and Funny Fiesta, Jeff is a champion for local creatives, helping them navigate grants, proposals, and residency applications. He also spent several years as the Artistic Director of Blackout Theatre Company, shaping innovative performances and storytelling in the city.
